The theme of Summit was
Celebrate. Remember. Fight Back.
This is up for discussion (at committee meetings), but I like it. It makes a great answer when we are asked, "What do you do at Relay?" or "Why?"
We Celebrate. the lives of those who have battled cancer.
We Remember. loved ones lost to the disease.
We Fight Back. against a disease that takes too much.
We Relay because we have been touched by cancer and desperatly want to put and end to the disease. Make a commitment to save lives by taking up the fight.

I think all the work you do for Relay is awesome! You guys have definately made a difference! We did relay one year in Blanco as a family. I walked about 15 miles without stopping. I thought my legs were spaghetti when I was done! Maybe we will get to participate again this coming spring.
