Team Captain Notes
Team Captains Bring….lighters, cooler with water and snacks, chairs, sleeping bags, Silent Auction Basket and CASH for the onsite fundraising!! There will be lots of food and goodies!!! Plan your onsite fundraising now!!
Some great onsite fundraiser ideas include….team sports, such as volleyball, washers, horseshoes, etc. Let me know and I can spread the work to register early at your campsite.
No pets, PLEASE abide by this rule, it is the school’s rule and we don’t want to loose the privilege of using the stadium as out location.
Pick Up Raffle tickets at Fredericksburg Standard and Luminaries at Curves.

A few notes from the last meeting...

Team Captains can pick up Raffle tickets at the Fredericksburg Standard
Tshirts will be ordered right after the 3-17 meeting, so please have your team members registered!
We have got to get started with Team fundraisers!!! Please support the other teams, so they can support you and let me know about your fundraisers, so I can help get the word out.

*The Secret Garden is donating the money from their 'boob' shirts to Relay. If you havent see these, you HAVE to go by there!!
*Ink Jet cartridges! I have envelopes and labels if yo need them, or bring your cartridges to a meeting.

Oprah's Big Give
I am watching Oprah's Big Give tonight. Each of the teams are working to raise money in creative ways. Hummm....that sounds familiar.

March is Colon Cancer Awareness Month
Each year 130,000 Americans are diagnosed with colorectal cancer.
I can fight back against colon cancer....
*I can get tested for colon cancer if I am 50 or older. I have the power to avoid colon cancer by getting tested.
*I can encourage a friend or family member to get tested for colon cancer.
*I can make a personal commitment to decrease my risk. Colon cancer risk factors are age, family history, an drace, but other factors - suck as smoking, obesity, and diet also impact my risk.

Please bring your participant forms, or make sure everyone on your team has registered online to guarantee a tshirt.
This also means ALL teams need to be registered. If you do not want to register online, come to the meeting with your $20 registration fee, there will be plenty of forms there.
